Fully Vaccinated? What the CDC Says You Should and Shouldn't Do Now New recommendations for fully vaccinated It is acceptable for fully vaccinated individuals to visit your children, grandchildren or friends within a single household who are at low risk for a severe case of coronavirus without wearing a mask or needing to social distance. Fully vaccinated individuals may also visit with other fully vaccinated people indoors without masking or social distancing. Quarantining or getting tested after contact with someone who has COVID-19 is not necessary, as long as no symptoms are exhibited. A person is fully vaccinated two weeks after you have received the second dose of the two-shot Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine or a single dose of the one-shot Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine. Do continue precautions that have been in place during most of the pandemic.
