Umiya Dham Temple In New Jersey Hosts Massive Ganesh Mahotsav T he Umiya Dham Hindu Temple in Edison, NJ, held the Ganesh Mahotsav 2025, from August 27- Sep- tember 6. The main orga- nizers of the massive event were Harshad Patel, incharge of temple management, and Arvind Patel. Organizers described it as the “biggest divine celebration” in the heart of Edison, on Oak Tree Road. The Temple’s massive park- ing area was the venue where an 18 ft high Lord Ganesha Murti dominated the scene and crowds milled around with music and dancing. The darshan or visita- tion of The Lord was held on weekdays from 3 pm to 9 pm, and on weekend days from 10 am to 9 pm. The visarjan or immersion of the Ganesh murti was carried out on September 6, at 6.30 pm.
