www.desitalk.com – that’s all you need to know T ercer County Park came alive over the weekend as thousands of visi- tors flocked to celebrate the Indo American Fair 2025, a two-day cultural extravaganza blending Bollywood glamour, Indian tradition, and local community spirit. Organized by the Rajesh and Arun Anand family, the fair has grown into one of New Jersey’s most anticipated annual events, serving as both a cultural showcase and a platform for local entre- preneurs. Each morning began with the devo- tional *Ganesh Aarti*, setting the tone for a celebration rooted in tradition. At- tendees were treated to a bustling bazaar featuring everything frommouthwater- ing Indian delicacies and handcrafted jewelry to clothing, banking services, and insurance products. Vendors ar- rived not only from New Jersey, but also from across the U.S., Canada, and India, reflecting the event’s growing reputation as a hub for cultural and commercial exchange. The highlight of the fair came with the appearance of Padma Shri awardee and Bollywood icon Kailash Kher, who presented trophies and plaques to spon- sors before electrifying the crowd with his chart-topping hits. His performance added star power to the festival and cre- ated lasting memories for attendees. “We are thrilled with the overwhelm- ing response to this year’s Indo American Fair,” said organizer Rajesh Anand. “Our goal has always been to bring the com- munity together while supporting local businesses and artists. This year, we saw an incredible turnout and a fantastic display of talent, culture, and community spirit.” The stage also belonged to New Jersey’s own rising stars. Dance schools performed classical forms such as Odissi, Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi, and Kathak, while Carnatic music ensembles im- mersed audiences in India’s timeless traditions. On August 31, **Master Ji’s Heritage Ram Leela Studio** presented a moving dramatization of episodes from the *Ramayan* along with scenes from the life of Shirdi Sai Baba, leaving audi- ences spellbound. Music and dance pulsed through- out the fairgrounds, with live DJs, local South Asian singers, and high-energy Bollywood-style dance groups keeping the crowd on its feet. The event offered a dignified platform for young perform- ers, ensuring that South Asian traditions remain vibrant in the diaspora while also embracing creativity and modern flair. Beyond entertainment, the fair spotlighted a colorful array of mer- chandise—silk sarees, kurtis, scarves, bangles, diamond jewelry, and traditional handicrafts.
