DESI TALK December 26, 2025 13 Shwetal (Shen) Vakil July 26, 1975 - Dec 21, 2025 With deep sadness, we inform you of the passing of Shwetal , at the age of 50, following a courageous battle with cancer. Shwetal lived a life defined by strength, faith, and quiet resilience. An artist by nature, she expressed herself through music, drawing, painting, and graphic design. Her creativity was matched by her deeply religious spirit, guiding her life with humility and grace. Shwetal was caring, sensitive, and deeply understanding of others, always putting the needs of those around her before her own. Her generosity and kindness touched everyone shemet. Above all, Shwetal was a devoted and lovingmother. Her greatest joy was her 10-year-old son, Om , whose life will forever reflect her love, values, and strength. She is also survived by her husband, Prakashkumar . She was a proud daughter of Dr. Bhupendra Vakil and Late Dr. Gunvanta Vakil and was lovingly pampered by her siblings and cousins, who adored her. A true fighter, Shwetal faced her illness with courage and dignity, living peacefully and passing peacefully. Though her life was far too short, her legacy of compassion, creativity, faith, and love—especially as a mother— will endure in the hearts of all who knewher. Shwetal will be deeplymissed but forever remembered as a beacon of love and light. Honoring her wishes, her body was donated tomedical education.
