Presented by Tina Goyal and Maps Entertainment, along with Mohit Kapil and Aakash Rachh, in collaboration with national promoter Meenu Gupta of VOG USA, the show featured a star-studded lineup that brought iconic figures of Hindi cinema face-to-face with their U.S. fan base. The event showcased veteran Bolly- wood actors Chunky Panday and Gulshan Grover — both widely recognized for their memorable “bad boy” roles on screen — along with a special appearance by film- maker and entertainer Sajid Khan. ZEE5 unveiled a bold, gripping trailer of their upcoming original docu-series, Lawrence of Punjab, a culturally rooted story that explores how criminal identities are shaped. Produced by Riverland Entertain- ment and directed by Raghav Darr, the series will premiere on 27th April. According to the press note by the makers, “Lawrence of Punjab traces the journey of a criminal identity through the lens of culture, systems, and visibility. From stu- dent politics and music to ideology and media amplification, the series pieces together how aspiration, power, and perception intersect to shape a new-age digital syndicate. With Lawrence Bishnoi as a key case study within this ecosystem, the nar- rative expands beyond the individual to examine the larger cultural and social context, focusing on conse- quences.” Zee5 shared the trailer on their Instagram handle. With a powerful cast ensemble, the film aims to shed light on the extraordinary legacy of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. With Riteish stepping as the Maratha warrior, he appears focused and determined, striving to estab- lish swarajya. Genelia Deshmukh as Chhatrapati Shivaji’s wife brings much emotional depth to the story.
