www.desitalk.com – that’s all you need to know S TR Entertainment announced on May 25, 2026, the launch of “Talent Hunt 2026 – The Ultimate Voices of Bollywood,” a nation- wide singing competition created to discover, encourage, and celebrate exceptional Bollywood singing talent across the United States. STR Entertainment is a collective of music lovers, cultural advocates, and event organizers dedicated to reviving the magic of Bollywood through unfor- gettable live musical experiences, its press release said. The Live Audition Round was suc- cessfully completed on May 22, 2026, at Sanjay’s Studio in New Jersey, where more than 65 talented singers from across the USA participated. Contestants performed live with professional musi- cians, creating an authentic concert-style audition experience, organizers said. The auditions were judged by renowned singer and judge Priya Joshi. Following the audition process, 30 singers above the age of 26 and 8 sing- ers under the age of 26 were selected to advance to the Semi-final/Final Rounds, scheduled to take place on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at Middlesex County College – West Hall, Edison, New Jersey. Each finalist will perform one Bol- lywood solo song accompanied by a professional live orchestra. The perfor- mances will be evaluated by renowned Bollywood Music Director Jatin Pandit, with Raahul Pandit serving as the host for the evening. Contestants will be judged on voice quality, sur (pitch), rhythm, timing, expression, stage presence, vocal excellence, and overall consistency. The Grand Finale will feature a live orchestra, celebrity guests, audience participation, refreshments, dinner, apart from the Bollywood musical enter- tainment. During the final competition round, contestants will perform live on stage before the judge, and the Top 3 Winners —Winner, 1st Runner-Up, and 2nd Runner-Up will be announced at the end of the evening. The winners will receive an exclusive opportunity to record a song with a re- nowned music label company, providing aspiring singers with a national platform to launch and advance their musical journey. As fraud schemes continue to evolve through phone calls, text messages, emails, social media, artificial intel- ligence, and online platforms, the campaign hopes to provide residents with resources to help protect their personal information and financial security. Middlesex County Commissioner Deputy Director and Chair of the Public Safety Committee Shanti Narra, said, “Fraud prevention is a shared responsibility that depends on awareness, vigilance, and timely reporting. … By encouraging residents to recognize suspicious activity and report scams to local law enforcement and Middlesex County Consumer Affairs, this campaign helps strengthen our collective response to fraud and supports safer communities throughout the County.” The Campaign focuses on common types including property fraud, cryptocurrency fraud, imposter scams, phishing emails and text messages, and financial exploi- tation targeting older adults. Middlesex County Commissioner Director Ronald G. Rios, noting how scammers were becoming more sophis- ticated day by day, said, “Through the ‘Be a Hero Against Fraud’ campaign, Middlesex County is taking a proac- tive approach to educating the public, raising awareness about emerging scams, and ensuring residents have ac- cess to the tools and information necessary to safeguard their finances, identities, and personal information.” The campaign encourages residents to stay alert for red flags commonly associated with fraud, including unsolicited requests for personal or financial informa- tion, demands for immediate payment through gift cards or cryptocurrency, suspicious links or attachments, and individuals impersonating government agencies, law enforcement, banks, or utility companies.
